WeymouthLife Clean

Terms

Draft, not legal advice. This is a plain-English starting point, written so it's honest about what the platform does and doesn't do. Have a solicitor check it over before relying on it, especially the parts about liability and access to people's homes.

What WeymouthLife Clean is. A noticeboard that connects people who need cleaning with local cleaners. We are not a cleaning company, we do not employ any cleaner, and we are not party to the arrangement a customer and cleaner make with each other.

Verification. We check a cleaner's email, phone and, before they can make offers, approve their account by hand. This is not the same as a formal background check, DBS check, or proof of insurance. Ask a cleaner directly if you need to see any of that before booking.

No commission at launch. The platform is free to use for both customers and cleaners. Payment for a job is arranged directly between the two of you, however you agree, we take no cut. This may change in future, and if it does, we'll tell you clearly before it applies to any new job.

Your responsibility. Customers are responsible for who they let into their home and what they agree to pay. Cleaners are responsible for the work they carry out and any claims they make about their experience, insurance, or qualifications. WeymouthLife Clean is not liable for the quality of any clean, for loss or damage during a job, or for any dispute between customer and cleaner.

Ratings and conduct. Ratings and reviews must be honest and about the job itself. We can remove an account that behaves abusively, posts fake reviews, or misuses the messaging system.

Reporting a problem. Use the report option on a job if something goes wrong. We'll look into it, but we cannot act as a mediator for the money owed between customer and cleaner, that remains between the two of you.
